CANNIBAL CORPSE Frontman To Guest On 96.7 KCAL FM's 'The Moshpit'
July 3, 2009Vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of Florida-based death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE will be interviewed by host Mike Z. on this Saturday night's (July 4) edition of "The Moshpit" show on Southern California's 96.7 KCAL FM. Corpsegrinder talks about the two bands that he can't wait to watch while touring as a part of Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival this summer, Metal Blade Records founder Brian Slagel's impact on the metal scene, CANNIBAL CORPSE's legion of fans and not doing vocal warm-ups before hitting the stage.

CANNIBAL CORPSE will embark on the European Plague Tour in the fall. Direct support will come from DYING FETUS. On the mainland, the package will be completed by EVOCATION and OBSCURA, while TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY will support the bands in the U.K.
CANNIBAL CORPSE's new album, "Evisceration Plague", sold 9,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. This is more than 50 percent higher than the opening tally of the band's previous CD, "Kill" (2006),which landed at No. 170 after shifting more than 6,000 copies. In 1996, CANNIBAL CORPSE's "Vile" premiered at No. 151, with more than 6,100 copies sold.
